today was a special hindu holiday of honoring metal (or technology?) so there were many festivals going on.
everyone gathers and there is a small procession and than people hang out and eat and sing.

as part of giving thanks to metal, people decorated their cars and bikes with little offerings!

The tana lot temple area. I want to live here! There are two surfers out there. This is a directional temple, one of 8 all around the island.
Receiving holy water and a blessing from the spring underneath the temple.
Don't know if was completely natural or not but amazing!
We ventured into Kuta one night . .felt about 10 years too old for it.
